Weather permitting the Club's first stargazing evening of the year will be held on Saturday 13th January.

With the New Moon a few days away (17/01), the first stargazing evening of the year will be held on Saturday 13 January from 20:30 onwards, everyone is welcome. One of the targets for the evening will be the Carina Nebula, a large complex region of bright and dark nebulosity in the constellation Carina. The nebula is visible with the naked eye at an estimated distance of 6 500 light years away.
