The chocolate chip cookie just got a very smart little makeover. Fun, colourful and super yum! These cookies will definitely become a favourite sweet treat for your kids, and the recipe is easy enough to let them help you bake.
INGREDIENTS
- 110 g margarine
- 80 g brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons syrup
- 1 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 180 g self-raising flour
- 110 g Smarties®
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Combine the margarine and sugar in a large mixing bowl and cream until smooth.
- Next, add the rest of the ingredients and mix well to make a thick cake-like batter.
- Scoop big dollops of cookie batter onto a greased and lightly floured cookie tray.
- Make sure you leave enough space in-between each cookie so that the batter can spread.
- Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes or until crispy and golden.
- Leave to cool on a wire rack and store the cookies in an airtight container.
