It is that time of the year again we have all been waiting for. Die Fees van Die Gaanse is just around the corner on the 21st of September 2013 and Gansbaai is gearing up for fun activities to be enjoyed by family and friends.As part of the festival- rock and surf angling, deep sea angling and fresh water angling will all be incorporated on the same day.
Lomond Wine Estate is hosting the fresh water fishing competition on the Kraaibos Dam which is a110H dam situated in the Uilenkraal valley. Anglers are limited to 50. Entries will be on a first come first in basis. Please contact us for entry forms. R100 per angler will be charged.Boats welcome subject to dam rules. We will also be hosting an open day with wine tastings, Lomond wines, beverages, Boerewors rolls and a sweets stalls (available for purchase) so encourage your friends and family to join us for the day. There will be no entry fee for non anglers.
This year we will be extending the entertainment after the prize giving, so please join us for some potjiekos and live music. All the proceeds will be going to SEC-Skills Exchange Cooperative, a local organization that works in social, economic and nature based development.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION: We are situated on the Elim/Baardkeerdersbos road, turn left at the Uilenkaal campsite, follow the tar road for 7km and turn left at the Lomond signs.
