Penguin Campaign December 2023
It’s Competition Time!
To all our locals and visitors, have some fun with us this holiday season and stand a chance to win fantastic prizes!
The African Penguin and Seabird Sanctuary, a Dyer Island Conservation Trust project, was inspired to start the Overstrand Penguin Campaign to conserve the endangered African penguin.
To celebrate these tuxedo-clad birds, Overstrand tourism offices are encouraging you to enter the Penguin Campaign Competition!
It’s easy, there are 11 giant penguins on the Cape Whale Coast waiting to be visited with a few basic rules to qualify for the lucky draws and grand prizes.
Visit one or visit them all, it’s up to you because the good news is, the more penguins you visit and upload photos of, the better your chances are of winning a prize!
