Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Good
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Broadnose Sevengill shark, Cape fur seals + Humpback whales
Summary: A beautiful start to the new week and morning here at Marine Dynamics! At our dive site, we were welcomed by two playful Cape fur seals hunting around the boat, keeping our divers entertained. Soon after, a Short-tail stingray came right up to the bait line, giving our divers an exciting underwater encounter. While waiting, we were lucky enough to spot a prehistoric Broadnose sevengill shark, our only shark sighting on the first trip of the day, but a memorable one! As we made our way around Danger Point, we were treated to incredible sightings of Humpback whales, adding to the adventure and excitement. For the second trip of the day, Humpback whales were also sighted going around the point! On arrival, our divers got suited up, and Bronze whaler sharks made their first appearance for the day. Thank you to all our guests for joining us in celebrating World Nature Conservation Day!
