Her Words Waters Flowers

Created by God, she is the creative force of the universe in almost all its expressions. Life begins in her womb and it is in her guiding hands and tender loving care that it finds meaning. The reach of her arms can provide peace to many at once and just one hug from her could heal everything from a broken knee to a broken heart.

She works continuously, often putting in more hours than what there is in a 24-hour day. Chopping, cleaning, cooking, nursing and still managing to look fresh all the time. She defines different roles magnificently, that of a mother, wife, daughter, friend, counsellor, all at once, juggling it all to perfection.

She can multitask, one ear on the phone, one eye on the television, the other keeping watch on the soup on the stove, one ear constantly on alert just in case baby brother awakes from his nap. Surely she is superhuman, a goddess, and no less. Her varied qualities make you look at her in awe.

When you are sick, she nurses you, just a palm caressing your forehead has the power to make you feel good, warm, secure and loved simultaneously. When you come home tired and defeated, she takes you into her arms and quiets your fears.

She rejuvenates you. She comforts you, builds your confidence and makes you feel proud to be a part of her world. She guides you to your goals and dreams, persuades you into staying focused and when you achieve your goals, she stands behind you in your shadow cloaked in the pride of your success.

As a mother she relentlessly cares, playing psychiatrist, doctor, maid and mentor to her children. Whether it's their favourite lunch, a school project or just a simple sport match, she will be there to support you. Behind every successful man there is a woman, yes, a mother, a daughter, a friend, or perhaps a sister.

She gives unconditionally, loves beyond reason, and forgives you time and time again. She puts your needs first, every time and she'll do it again. She takes pride in your achievements and comforts you when you experience disappointments and hardships. She’s there for you when everyone has turned their backs on you, and it is her faith in you that makes you want to rise up and try again. 

She has a dual personality. Almost every woman has two personalities. She can be helpless and vulnerable on the one hand and be strong and dependable on the other. She is soft to touch and you want to comfort her and keep her from harm, but in a crisis she is the one who will support you and give you strength. She preps her little warriors for life's battles and equips them with the knowledge to overcome any obstacle. 

She might cry at random times, whether it’s a movie or song, but come the time to be strong she will stand like a rock, tall and anchored. It is the versatility of her personality, her varied capabilities, which make you want to bow before her in admiration. She is worthy of being treated like a Goddess and no less.

She is a woman.
