Breakfast at crewhouse - the breakfast consists of yogurt, cereals, toast, cooked eggs, jams, cheese, tea and coffee.

Your day at sea and safety briefing - the dive master of the day or marine biologist gives a short briefing on safety, the Great White Shark and the diving procedures. He explains how we work with the sharks in the area. We spend 2 to 4 hours at sea, depending on how often the sharks visit the boat. Be sure to ask as many questions as you can think up!

Diving and viewing - our cage takes 5 - 6 people at a time. Each person spends about 20 minutes in the cage. All diving equipment, including 5mm wetsuits, is provided – you don’t need a scuba license to cage dive.

Big Game Safari

So you are thinking about exploring the wildside of Africa?  Let us tell you all you need to know about our fantastic safari experience.

Your malaria free, wild Cape Safari takes place in the Klein Karoo, a 2.5 hour drive from Cape Town where semi arid desert collides with majestic mountain ranges and grassy veld, open skies and uninterrupted views. Located on a private reserve of over 10,000 hectares that is dedicated to the natural rehabilitation of wild life to this area, you would be forgiven for thinking that you are lost from civilisation among the more than 1200 animals from over 28 different species including:

§                     Cheetah

§                     Lion Giraffe

§                     Rhinoceros

§                     Zebra

§                     Blue & Black Wildebeest

§                     Bat Eared Fox

§                     Meerkat

§                     Kudu, Springbok & other buck

§                     Black Back Jackal

§                     Hundreds of species of birds

The reserve is well known for their Cheetah Rehabilitation program that it has been operating since 2001, as well as their strong eco-friendly and environmental ethic. For those looking for a glimpse into the natural habitat of the animal kingdom, you may choose to visit for the day only; but you may prefer to stay for a while on the reserve to experience the true African Cape Safari.

Visitors can track animals on 2,5-hour game drives in our specifically designed Land Rover 4x4 game viewing vehicles with rangers on hand to help you find the animals and provide accurate, up-to-date information of flora and fauna. Guests can step close to wild animals such as giraffes on our guided walks with expert trackers during safaris, and overnight guests can watch the animals drink, eat and play at our many observation posts situated strategically inside the reserve high up out of danger's way!
