Known as the “Constantia” of Hermanus, Fernkloof it is situated on the lower slopes just below the nature reserve and flanked by the golf course and Mossel River. The properties in this area are quite spacious with equally impressive houses, some dating back to the 1950’s. Others feature the latest in architecture, construction and mod cons. Views of mountain and/or sea are almost a given in this peaceful suburb.
The newly developed golf course precincts surrounding the golf course fall under the Fernkloof Estate title with each “precinct” sporting its own name and managed by its own board. An architectural design guide has been applied to all the precincts and consequently the villages have a distinct “look”. Access control at each precinct provides a measure of security.
