Sandbaai

Sandbaai › Hermanus › Western Cape › South Africa

Sandbaai was once a wind-swept sandy area overgrown with the alien Port Jackson trees. Today it is probably the most densely populated suburb of Hermanus. Dozens of housing complexes provide affordable housing to the younger generation working in Hermanus and the older generation who are down-sizing and need to be close to facilities.
