Holiday Fun with Purpose at Grootbos Foundation

This week marked school holidays across the country, with kids, teens, and families embracing a new daily rhythm. At Grootbos Foundation, we took full advantage of the season, diving into the great outdoors and celebrating the beauty of nature!

Our Conservation Research Unit captured some stunning botanical moments (just look at that woolly plant, fauna and flora in one?!) and even spotted a young caracal on the reserve, which is now being closely monitored.

While we explored the natural world, we also teamed up with local NPOs to create a holiday programme that kept children inspired, nourished, mentored, and most importantly, safe and having fun!

Huge thanks to:

• Creative Skills Factory

• Dyer Island Conservation Trust

• iMed Africa

…for joining forces with our amazing sports coaches to make the holidaze something special.
