BARC Animal Welfare - April 2025 Update
Happy 2025 from all of us at Birkenhead Animal Welfare!
As we step into a new year, we want to say a massive thank you to you - whether you adopted, donated, volunteered, or simply supported us. Your kindness helps us rescue and care for animals who need it most.
So far this year:
• 50 animals sterilised (free of charge)
• 25 animals adopted
• Fires threatened our shelter - but thanks to brave staff, White Shark Projects, and local heroes, all animals were safely evacuated (some even found forever homes because of it!)
• Community kindness keeps rolling in through donations, shop support, and volunteer help
