Gansbaai Academia Shines at the National Teaching Awards 2025

The National Teaching Awards in South Africa honour outstanding teaching professionals in public schools.

This year, Gansbaai Academia participated again, and we are excited to share the winners:

Ms. C Fortuin, Principal, winner in School Leadership.

Ms. E Shumi, winner in Excellence in Secondary Teaching.

Mrs. van Geems, winner in Excellence in Maths GET.

Ms. Magqweta, 2nd runner-up in Natural Sciences.

As the saying goes, 'Anyone can steer the ship, but it takes a leader to chart the course.' We extend our gratitude to Ms. C Fortuin for her exceptional leadership.

We are extremely proud of our colleagues and thrilled to share this achievement with the community.

We wish our colleagues continued success in their preparations for the provincial rounds.
