Welcome to Our New Interns!
We’re happy to introduce three new interns joining the Grootbos Foundation team:
Amahle Nkelenjane is joining the Sports Coach team. He came through the programme himself and volunteered as a soccer coach before starting this FirstJob opportunity with the FirstRand Foundation.
Nombeko Ngwe joins Zimasa at the Masakhane Hub. She studied psychology and has done a lot of volunteer work, including helping the elderly and tutoring children, before this FirstRand FirstJob chance.
Our short-term intern Mario Morales is a PhD candidate from the University of Arizona, in Health Behaviour and Health Promotion Sciences. He brings valuable experience to an impact evaluation project we’re doing with Nature’s Valley Trust and the University of North West. We’re excited to learn from Mario and work with these great partners.
