Mandela Day at the Great White House
At the Great White House Restaurant, our waiters and front-of-house team did something a little different for Mandela Day this year.
Even though they were busy working, they still wanted to be part of the day and give back where they could.
While many people were out doing their 67 minutes for Mandela Day, our team showed that small acts of kindness can also happen at work. In support of the community clean-up in Masakhane, organised by Marine Dynamics. Our waiters came together to prepare sandwiches for the children who joined the clean-up. They sponsored everything themselves. Their contribution helps toward the goal of 500 sandwiches, offering a small but heartfelt thank you to the young volunteers making a difference in their community
The Great White House is proud to work together with Marine Dynamics, and we are often inspired by their strong support for the community and the environment.
This Mandela Day, we are especially proud of our team.
Thank you to our wonderful team for reminding us that making a difference sometimes simply means showing up and caring.
