More Than Just a Sanctuary - A Conservation Model

The African Penguin & Seabird Sanctuary isn’t just a rehabilitation facility. We are building a sustainable conservation model that combines rescue, education, and tourism.

Whether it is through a donation, spreading awareness, or simply visiting our sanctuary, even enjoying a coffee, a slice of our famous cheesecake, or buying a soft toy in our shop, you support our education programs, help fund the planned South African Seabird Centre, and strengthen our voice in working with the government on marine protection.

Entrance is free.

Do not miss our penguin feeding time at 15:00 daily, a wonderful way to learn more about the birds and see the difference your support makes.

Visit, learn, and help us give seabirds a brighter future.
