PBRPA September Committee Meeting Summary

Infrastructure and Maintenance

• Painting of Whale and Info Board: Materials ordered; replacement board arranged by Wilma.
• Advertising Board: To be placed outside the Seeff Office.
• Street Map: Needs printing and laminating (Nelia to arrange).
• Deadline: Aim to complete projects before the November holiday season.
Other Issues
• Bottle Store: November council meeting to discuss Title Deed change. The municipality does not support the application. Associations encouraged to comment.
Finance and Membership

• Poor attendance at the August public meeting. Misconception persists that municipal rates include PBRPA subscription. Quarterly newsletter suggested for recruitment.
Ward Councillor Update
• Indigent funding is provided nationally, not municipally.

Building Plans
• No new houses approved in August.
• Alterations/additions approved for several erven in Pearly Beach Resort and Village.

• New sign to be made: “Please keep Pearly Beach clean.”
