31 Young People Prepare for Employment and Entrepreneurship Success

From the Employability Programme:31 young people attended the Work Readiness Workshop to prepare them for their 10-day Workplace Experience which will begin at a variety of participating local businesses next week. We can't wait to see what doors open from this experience for these keen youths ready to dive into the world of work. They have been set up with training and mentorship so that the work experience sets them up for success. Our trainers will continue to support and monitor their journeys into employment contracts.

Here they are, 31 young people ready to work! Sometimes all that is missing is confidence and an introduction to an opportunity to change someone's life.

Another pathway to financial dignity is through the entrepreneurship programme: this week, a few of the 2026 entrepreneurs made a trip to Cape Town to purchase some of the items they identified in their business plans for their 1st step. Clear business plans with clear targets, monthly financial reports and monthly personal mentorship sessions are designed so that these entrepreneurs grow their businesses into success stories.
