The owner of the new B'Bos Art Gallery, Ivan Trollip
The B’Bos Art Gallery opened it’s doors on the 1st of February 2013 by Ivan Trollip, a full time artist since 1989. The Gallery is situated in the old school house at the end of Strandveld street in Baarskeerdersbos. The Gallery is open from Tuesday-Sunday weekly, closed on Monday’s: 09h00-17h00. The aim of the Gallery is to showcase original works of art by artists living and working in the Overberg area. All artists living in this area are welcome to present their work at the Gallery for consideration. The Old school house is an enchanting building with beautiful, large rooms still with the original wooden floors and high ceilings. Ideal for artworks, both large and small. The art is displayed in such a manner as to allow the viewer to visualise the artworks within a home, giving the Gallery a friendly, homely and inviting atmosphere.
