“Groot opwinding heers oor Gansbaai se twintigste jaarlikse Fynbosuitstalling, vanjaar by Groeneweide Kwekery,” sê Karen Clement, koördineerder van die Funky Fynbosfees. “Hierdie unieke Fynbosuitstalling sal weer eens deur die gemeenskap en besoekers geniet kan word.”
Over the last 20 years, local farmers, have graciously donated and even harvested the beautiful and varied fynbos for these talented men and women to create incredible displays, which otherwise would not be seen. The tradition of the fynbos display has been handed down from person to person in the community with pride and passion.
Hierdie jaar se Fynbos Vreugde-uitstalling, met pragtige name soos speldekussing, knopbossie, slangbos, bloed kol-kol, protea, rooisewerjaartjie en kêr-kêr, sal uitstaande wees!
The Funky Fynbos Festival is aimed at bringing communities together to showcase the wonders Gansbaai and its surrounds have to offer, while promoting the principles of Responsible Tourism.
The Funky Fynbos Festival will be held 24th and 25th September 2016 at Flower Valley Farm, Gansbaai. MTB Races, Trail Runs, festivities, food, beer, wine, crafts and so much more will be offered.
Karen sê dat Flower Valley Early Learning Centre van Flower Valley vanjaar een van die begunstigdes sal wees. Grootbos en Saxon Lodge het hul vennootskap as borge om ‘n sukses van die fees te maak, herbevestig.
