o/13A Netbalspan wen 17-13.

Vrydag, 25 Augustus 2017 was die groot “Big Brag” vir Laerskool Gansbaai - die beste ooit - aldus verskeie kommentare. Alle rugby- en netbalspanne is aan leerders en ouers voorgestel. Die o/13A netbalspanlede het elk ‘n netbalspeld ontvang, asook die o/13 rugbyspanlede. Pette is ook deur die ouers aan die o/13 rugbyspelers oorhandig. In die middel klou Hugo Carstens soos ‘n neet aan die bal, met vlnr Daniel Hanekom, Daniel Mans (weggesteek) en Nieldré Groenewald wat hom ondersteun. Monique Hugo van die Gansies se o/13A netbalspan is links in besit van die bal en regs maak sy seker die bal gaan nie weer afgevat word nie. Links is die trotse o/13A netbalspan van Laerskool Gansbaai en regs diè van Laerskool De Villiers Graaff. Die Gansies het met 17-13 gewen. Van links is Marlene Koekemoer (afrigter), Kyra van Niekerk, Lynmari Liebenberg, Caylin Smit, Anita Vermeulen, Nadine Kriel, Anrie van Niekerk, Jaydene Pieterse, Jolette Bezuidenhout (afrigter), Nadine Groenewald (Kaptein), Monique Hugo, mnr Eben van der Merwe (Skoolhoof: Laerskool Gansbaai) en mnr Chris van Vuuren (Skoolhoof: Laerskool De Villiers Graaff). Die trotse o/13 rugbyspan van Laerskool Gansbaai wat 46-0 gewen het. Voor vlnr Henrique Lourens, Daniel Hanekom, Reynardt Roux en Billy Brown. 2de ry vlnr Stephan Groenewald, Karel Liebenberg, Divan Ras, D’Andrè Waren, Janiel Klotz, John Dunn, Ethan Dickson en Jason Snoegela. 3de ry vlnr Mornay Nortje, Alzeed October, George Groenewald (Kaptein), Christof Dahl, AJ Bosch (Onderkaptein), Nieldrè Groenewald, Veno van Vuuren, Charl Eksteen, Hugo Carstens, Daniel Mans en Gavin Middleton. Agter vlnr Hayward Valentine, Gordon Cornelius (Afrigter), Mike Geldenhuys (Afrigter) en mnr Eben van der Merwe (Skoolhoof: Laerskool Gansbaai). Janiel Klotz klou vir die vale aan die bal, met links van hom, Charl Eksteen en George Groenewald wat hom ondersteun. Nieldrè Groenewald spring hoog vir die bal in die lynstaan, met Charl Eksteen (voor) en Billy Brown (direk agter hom) wat hom ondersteun. Kan iemand beter ondersteuning bied?
