CERAMIC TILES 12 March - 15 May 2019 - 1st Opening

Morning classes (or evening, depending on demand).

Materials included.

Make your own original clay relief tile & a plaster mould to reproduce a number of identical tiles.

Our foreigner group are going to make conservation motifs eg. penguins, tortoises, threatened plants, etc. and donate a few of their tiles to conservation centres to sell for funds.

You can join them in this project if you wish but this is optional. You can also do your own designs.

CASEIN TEMPERA  12 March - 15 May 2019 - 2nd Opening

Materials included.

Learn the ancient technique of Caseïn tempera painting with very basic pigments - the cheapest most durable of art materials bought at the chemist, the hardware shop and the supermarket!

CERAMIC SCULPTURE - 12 March - 15 May 2019 - 3rd Opening

Life-size bust in stoneware clay suitable for outdoor use. Materials included 20KG stoneware paper clay.

Morning and afternoon sessions.

  • Cost R1,800

TEXTILE SCREEN PRINT 12 March - 15 May 2019 - 4th Opening

Design and print on fabric.

Materials and screen included.
