Connecting with your Authentic Self

“There is nothing more powerful than a being that knows itself” - Julie Piatt

Join us for Bodhi Khaya’s Women’s Retreat on 3 - 6 November within the exquisite natural sanctuary of Bodhi Khaya and experience the profound transformation that happens when women come together. Facilitated by Julie Grant and Olivia Moon, this retreat will guide you to connect with your most authentic self through powerful practices, tools and teachings so that you can begin to show up fully in your life as the unique being that you are.

What if your purpose in this life was nothing more than to arrive in each moment as your truest, most authentic self? The thing is, most of us are operating from a conditioned view of who we ‘should be’, held up by other’s expectations of us.

As women, we may play many roles and wear many hats, often disconnecting us from who we are at our essence. Letting go of identifying with these labels allows us to come back to our authentic self, and when we show up as her, we give all those in our lives permission to do the same.

Julie Grant

Julie has spent most of her life fascinated with the complexities of being human; and what motivates us to do what we do, and feel what we feel. Through studies in Psychology, Live Performance, Kinesiology, Sound, Mindfulness, Mantra and Yoga, she views well-being through a multi-layered lens and brings this multi-dimensional quality to her Classes and Retreats. She believes that creating intentional spaces for connection is vital to our mental and emotional health, and is committed to creating these safe containers through the work she does.

Olivia Moon

Olivia is a certified Holistic Wellness and Spiritual Life Coach, Yoga and Breathwork Teacher and Retreat Facilitator, as well as Bodhi Khaya’s resident teacher. She’s on a mission to help women align with their highest self, reconnect to their intuition, cultivate self-love and overcome self-sabotage for good so they can feel amazing and live in flow.

Olivia believes that our breath is our connection to the universe, it is the bridge between the spiritual and physical. When we cross this bridge using the breath, we are able to access our true essence, waiting to be expressed.

More on the offerings

“Voice Activation Workshop” - Discover the power of your authentic sound

Your voice is the instrument through which you vibrate your essence into the world and can be a very vulnerable space to work with.

Using a combination of breathwork and vocal techniques, in a safe and contained space, Julie will guide participants through a journey of discovering their unique expression by moving through layers of suppression and activating the potent power of vibration.

“Conscious Breathwork Journey”

Conscious Circular Breathing is a powerful breathing pattern that has the capacity to induce an altered state of consciousness, activating the body’s inner healing intelligence, expanding awareness and relieving physical tension and stress in the body, as well as clearing past trauma and releasing unprocessed emotions.

Breathwork facilities deep transformation, cleanses the body, is powerfully insightful, unblocks stuck energy and rebalances your being on all levels, creating positive shifts that you will carry with you well beyond the session.
