In Loving Memory of Sue Preece
22 June 1957 - 12 January 2024
-She will always be remembered-
Animal lover and a passion for food, Sue Preece, passed away on 12 January 2024 after a tragic accident. Sue was known for her pork pies, Scottish eggs and meat products produced on their farm called “Sanity” at Wolvengat.
Sue was a well-known person and a favourite amongst the locals and clients from far away. She was also involved in various society events and had a stall at the Hermanus Country Market. She served as a caring heart for all those in need and the community (Wolvengat). Her gentleness, kindness, beautiful smile and full of life will always stay with us.
We know she now rest in peace with her Heavenly Father. She leaves an enormous hole in the Wolvengat community. A hole that can never be filled. She will be missed by the community, all her clients, her friends and most of all her family. Her caring touch, advice and smile will be missed by all who knew her. It is clear to all that she was truly one of a kind. Above all else Sue’s embodied the qualities of a loving mother and grandmother.
We are all grateful for the privilege of having Sue as part of the community at Wolvengat and for the generosity of her presence. She was good in everything she did. Sue’s memory will forever be etched in the minds of many, particularly as the woman known for her Pork Pies, her nature and incredibly generous heart.
Our hearts go out to Mike, Dylan, Lindi, Mila and all her family. We trust that Sue is now enjoying a peaceful existence having a cup of tea and a rusk and watching over us from above!
Rest in peace “Suzi”!
