Meet Pretty: A Green Entrepreneur in Pearly Beach
Come along on a special trip with us and meet Pretty, a hardworking entrepreneur from Pearly Beach. Check out our latest video to see the amazing work she's doing to help the environment and her local community.
Pretty's eco-friendly business is getting ready to make a big impact in 2024, and we're excited to share her story with you. With her dedication, Pretty employs four locals to cut down invasive pine trees at Lomond, turning them into useful materials for farming, building, and more.
But it's not just about making money for Pretty - it's also about helping nature. By getting rid of invasive plants and trees, she's helping to restore our environment, protect our water, and save the special fynbos plants that make our area unique.
And there's more! Lomond is proud to be part of the Walker Bay Fynbos Conservancy, showing how businesses can help take care of nature while also giving locals jobs.
Watch the video to see Pretty's journey and find out how you can join in and help make our world a greener, better place!
