Empowering Girls in Gansbaai Through Education
Coaches Maxene and Zikhona recently delivered an educational message about menstruation to grade 4 - 7 girls at Laerskool Gansbaai. The aim? To encourage open conversations about healthy menstruation and provide a safe space for girls to ask questions.
This initiative is part of our Sports4good educational programme, which supports our free sanitary pad distribution programme. Our goal is to ensure that no girls miss school because they lack access to sanitary pads.
Here, Maxene shares the important lesson with Grade 6 students from another local primary school, Gansbaai Primêre. By creating an environment where girls can freely ask questions, we're dispelling misunderstandings and reducing embarrassment surrounding this natural cycle.
Together, we're breaking barriers and ensuring every girl has the resources and knowledge to thrive.
