Boland Rugby and Hockey Achievements
Congratulations to these talented senior Rugby girls who attended the Boland Rugby U23 Capping Ceremony. Sport has empowered these high school teens, giving them confidence, focus, discipline, a support system, and positive role models where they might otherwise fall into poor life choices and patterns.
With socio-economic pressures and the reality of 60% youth unemployment for under-25s, many drop out of school. Rugby has provided these young women with a pathway to success.
Kudos to the under 13 Boland Hockey team for winning Bronze medals at the Inter-Provincial Tournament. Onwaba made his whole community proud by being selected to play for this team.
