Invasive Plant Clearing at Walker Bay
Our Biodiversity Stewardship Programme bridges the gap between our research initiatives and human impact efforts. In collaboration with Cape Nature, our dedicated team of stewards is working tirelessly to clear invasive rooikrans plants from the dune belt of the Walker Bay Nature Reserve.
One of our amazing team members, Princess, shares her experience: "For me, walking up and down the dunes also helps me with my daily exercise; remember, I am getting older, and this work keeps me fit."
We love Princess's can-do attitude and our hardworking team of women workers!
