Entrepreneurship Programme Update
We are so proud of Sibongiseni (2nd from left) who has bravely followed the Entrepreneurship pathway and now successfully provides employment for two teams of Invasive Plant Clearers, currently contracted at Agulhas National Park. Her teams contribute to conservation targets in the landscape while earning their own income to support their families.
Nonkogonzola from Stanford sells cooked and frozen meat in her community.
Amelda from Buffelsjagsbaai started her Natural Hair Care business in 2023 and is steadily growing her customer base.
Louisa stands outside her Spaza Shop in Buffelsjagbaai, providing an essential service in a community with no other shop.
Nobantu (left) makes traditional clothing and teaches others to sew, empowering them to earn their own income. Fumaneka (right), a sewing entrepreneur in our Grootbos Entrepreneurship programme for 2024, learned to sew with Nobantu last year.
Koliswa opened one of the first Spaza Shops in the Newrest area of Masakhane, building her reputation for serving the best hot chips, Russian sausages, and fish.
Jacoba and her sister run their sewing business in Blompark, and we are very proud of these two entrepreneurs who have built their business from strength to strength.
