At the Grootbos Foundation, we are fortunate to have Kurt, our resident herpetology expert, who embodies calm and care in the wildest situations.
In this photo, Kurt is in his element, carefully and confidently handling a boomslang - one of nature's most fascinating yet misunderstood creatures. With his deep knowledge and respect for wildlife, he relocated this specimen to a safe forest environment, ensuring it remained out of harm's way and continued its vital role in our ecosystem.
