New RhinoTurf Pitch Unveiled for Youth Sports in Gansbaai
At Grootbos, we love wild fynbos landscapes, twisted and knotty shrubs, fiery florals and soaring spears of restios. We also advocate for indigenous home gardens that are waterwise. BUT in another environment, we adore artificial turf! For the world of youth development through sport, artificial turf is the gold standard in team sports and offers children and teens from townships, a real opportunity to change their life pathways through soccer and hockey, and compete with sports teams from any background on a level playing field.
In this photo, Johnny from RhinoTurf got up close and personal with this beloved brand new turf being laid at Spaces4Sport. The Grootbos coaches (and community) cannot wait to be able to unleash their best sports moves when the pitch is officially launched on 29 Jan 2025!
Thank you to Premier League and RhinoTurf for making our dream come true by replacing the old turf which was first laid in 2008! The old turf had been loved to tatters.
