Meet Jule Zimmermann, a brand new intern who has joined the Head Office Communications Team.

'I have joined Grootbos to gain a better understanding of how NGOs operate, particularly in relation to funding, donor engagement, and project implementation. I look forward to building practical experience in project management and monitoring and evaluation, while supporting ongoing work with content, data, and communication. I am very excited to be here!'

We are very excited to have Jule join us too.

Meet Lindelwa Hlubi, a new Entomology intern who has joined the Conservation Research Team.

'I’m originally from KZN and have been fortunate to work across diverse ecosystems in South Africa, from Gauteng to Mpumalanga and now the Western Cape. I chose to join Grootbos Foundation because the work really resonates with me, especially the foundation’s focus on meaningful, long-term conservation grounded in robust science, as well as their commitment to connecting research with communities.

During my time here, I’m hoping to grow my field skills while deepening my understanding of the beautiful fynbos and learning how to turn ecological data into conservation action that truly makes a difference.'

Welcome to Lindelwa; we are delighted to have her in the team.
