One of the proudest highlights was CJ being crowned the Under 23 South African champion for the 200m sprint.

Hayward and CJ won gold medals in the K2 200m making them the fastest under 23 combination in SA.

We are so proud of these two young men who have been a part of our canoeing programme since the first trip to SA champs eight years ago where most of the Stanford paddlers finished close to the back of the field in all their races. We are so proud to see persistence and dedication paying off.
