Another Gansbaai SteriThon Success

What an incredibly inspiring and uplifting SteriThon day for Community Animal Action (CAA) at Blompark on 5 May 2026. Our hearts are full with gratitude as we reflect on what can be achieved when compassion, teamwork, and community spirit come together with purpose.

Thanks to this collective effort, we reached another meaningful milestone in our animal welfare journey. A total of 25 dogs received truly life‑changing care - including sterilisation, deworming, tick and flea treatment, and wound care - all delivered with exceptional professionalism, care, and kindness by the Ebervet CVC Team. Each dog also went home feeling loved and valued, together with a bag of quality dog food generously donated by the Ebervet Vetshop Team - a thoughtful gesture that made a real difference to both pets and their families.

One especially touching moment of the day was the adoption of a gorgeous puppy who had been picked up from the street that very morning, and who left with a loving forever Home. Moments like these remind us why this work matters so deeply.

This SteriThon was only possible through the dedication and unwavering support of our animal welfare partners, who work tirelessly, united for animals in need:

• Animals@Peace

• Black Leaves Rugby Club and Sports Ground

• EberVet CVC

• EberVet Vetshops

• Es La Vida Animal Haven

• FirstRand Foundation

• Fostering Animals

• Gansbaai Tourism

• Giving is Living

• MCP Wholesalers

• OK Foods Gansbaai

• Pack Leader

• PAWS & CO

• Pet Food Express

Events like this go far beyond a single day. They are part of a long‑term commitment to responsible pet ownership, community upliftment, and sustainable population control - all aimed at reducing the suffering caused by overbreeding.

We extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, supporters, and partners. Your time, trust, generosity, and genuine love for animals are the foundation of every success we celebrate.

Our work continues through weekly sterilisations in partnership with Vets @ Gansbaai, as we remain committed to building a healthier, safer, and more compassionate future for animals and the communities they share with us.

Thank you for believing in this journey and for walking alongside us as agents of change.
