Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Moderate

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingrays + Cape fur seal

Summary: A busy day on the water for our shark cage diving trips. An early morning departure from Kleinbaai Harbour led us to the dive site within the shallows, where guests were soon in their wetsuits and ready to jump into the water with the Bronze whaler sharks! Large individuals were present throughout the day, keeping divers company through all the trips. The arrival of multiple long-term Short-tail stingray residents at the bait lines allowed divers and guests on board to witness one of the largest species you can find along our coastlines. Thank you to everyone who joined us today. It was a pleasure having you all on board!
