“Less than two hours away from Cape Town lies the magical region of the Overberg. A unique landscape of fynbos covered contours and beautifully textured coastlines. In the heart of this majestic floral kingdom is a private nature reserve dedicated to sustaining this delicate world heritage site for generations to come.”
During the months of May to July, the Overberg explodes into a flurry of colourful commotion as the winter months signals the flowering season of the fynbos of the Cape Floral Kingdom and when its natural inhabitants come out to play. This special time sees the blossoming of the endemic Erica irregularis, the return of the Southern Right Whales, the breeding season of most birds endemic to the fynbos and lots more.
In the following weeks we'll be going on experiences like: See the blossoming Erica Irregularis, found nowhere else in the World | Forage for Mussels on the rocky Coastline | Harvest your own Single Blossom Honey | Enter our Kitchen and Cook with the Executive Chef | Join our guides as they explore the indigenous Fynbos and Birds like never before |Traverse the new Mountain Biking Routes in our pristine Reserve | Experience the Marine Big 5
