Let me tell you one...
Almost 2 years ago after health issues, my friend went to see a doctor, while planning a next appointment she mentioned: “Oh that week is not possible, cause I am in South Africa to arrange some things.”
My friend immediately responded surprised “South-Africa?”
“That’s my favorite place.” (He is in love with this country since a young age).
The doctor said that there was a beautiful house for sale.
So my friend emailed me the pictures of the house.
I was immediately blown away.
And I had this gut feeling, this is a one lifetime opportunity.
And I was thinking “things always happen for a reason".
So I took a leap of faith.
Took the risk after being informed that the house really exists (because we are raised that things are sometimes too good to be true).
And bought Villa The Cherry without seeing it and even without ever being in South-Africa!
That’s insane right?!
And it has been one of my best decisions ever!
So the first time I saw The Cherry in real life, I fell in love for the second time.
Coming to this place is like coming home, being in nature so close to the sea & beach, the wildlife, the silence, the peace.
It is so overwhelming… Right at Walkerbay Nature reserve. You see things from a different perspective and you immediately know what really matters...
We have met such great people already.
And we love to share this beautiful house which provides all the comfort you can imagine right in the middle of this magical place, with our guests.
The name “The Cherry” comes from the previous owners before they build the villa, they looked for the perfect spot and the real estate agent showed this plot after showing some other plots and said “I kept the Cherry for the last” meaning the best plot.
We will cherish The Cherry with all our heart.
