It costs R400 to adopt a cat/kitten and R500 to adopt a dog/puppy. This fee includes vaccination, sterilization and deworming. The adoption fee does not closely match real sterilization costs, in addition, BARC also absorbs extra expenses such as home checks and any extra ver expenses.
