COLLECTION OF VEHICLE LICENCE DISKS FROM GANSBAAI
The Gansbaai licencing and registration office is currently closed due to covid until further notice.
With prior arrangement, car licence discs paid via EFT can be collected from Buks Minnie at the Traffic Offices in Gansbaai during office hours.
Please email proof of payment, contact details and your car licence number to Patrick Africa at pafrica@overstrand.gov.za to arrange delivery.
Kindly note that only people who made the necessary arrangements via email will be able to collect their discs from Gansbaai.
Overstrand Municipality encourages residents to please consider online renewal of vehicle licences whenever possible.
Please pay the correct amount into the Overstrand Municipality primary bank account and use the relevant car registration number as a reference. Transactions cannot be processed if the amount due and reference number are incorrect.

Once payment reflects on the municipality’s bank statement, the vehicle licence will be processed and you can collect the disk from the Hermanus traffic department (allow at least 5 - 7 working days for this or phone to ask if the disk is ready for collection).
When collecting the disk, bring proof of payment with.
When somebody else collects the disk on behalf of the vehicle owner:
• Authorisation letter stating the registration number and the authorization of the person doing the collection (the person's full names).
• A certified copy of your ID and their own ID.
