NEWS: Overberg on Top
If anybody knows how to kick off the year with a big bang then it is definitely the innovative and passionate folks of the Overberg. This week anyone and everyone took part in the recently launched #discoverOverberg chat on Twitter and shared delectable tips on how to Wine & Dine in the Overberg.

Gansbaai Explore was asked to co-host along with @overberginfo. Joining the ranks of Chief Destineer and former CEO of Cape Town Tourism, Mariette dT-Hemboldt (@MariettedTH), the Travelling Beatnik, Thaya Bedford (@beatnikloves), Stanford Tourism (@visitstanford) and passionate promoter of the Overberg, What’s Happening (@intheOverberg). The chat was a roaring success and not just because of the rumbling stomachs it left in its wake. Keeping with the slogan, everyone involved got their gourmet on and ranted and raved about their favourite eateries and wine farms from the area.
And the fun didn’t stop there. Due to the great success and trending of #discoverOverberg, the topic for #TravelChatSA was coincidently also #discoverOverberg. Yet again setting the Twee-o-sphere a light, everyone joined in and shared their favourite things to do and see in the Overberg.
