The third exciting Funky Fynbos Festival wil take place on 24 & 25 September 2016 with a new venue, new challenging MTB routes, new exhilarating trail runs and much more.
The main venue for the Festival is the Flower Valley Conservation Trust located on the Flower Valley Farm in Gansbaai. Here you can expect our unique brand of fun and festivities, alongside the sporting events. Great food, beer & wine gardens, local arts and crafts, specialised sports apparel, therapeutic massages, tractor rides and loads of fun for the kids and adults alike.
Entries for events are open and entry forms can be found on the Funky Fynbos website.
Also part of the Funky Weekend, we bring you: 4 x 4 Challenge charity Event @ Panorama Haven; Traditional 20th year Celebration of The Fynbos Display, this year at Groeneweide Farm; Family Fishing Day, with pop up restaurants and wine tasting at Lomond Wine Estate; And of course great Gansbaai hospitality.
Gansbaai won the Responsible Tourism Best Destination award 2015 and our festival and sponsors all promote the principles of responsible tourism, which is the theme for this year's event.
The proceeds of this festival will go to the Flower Valley Eco School.
