Overstrand’s Deputy Mayor, Alderman Dudley Coetzee, has pledged his support to 'Movember', the international men's health movement, saying that no razor will touch his upper lip until the end of the month.
Councillors Simphiwe Tebele and David Botha and other municipal officials are proudly taking part by helping bring awareness to men's health.
The aim of Movember, also known as ‘No Shave November’, is for any and every brave man to grow a moustache to raise money for charities fighting prostate cancer, testicular conditions and mental health issues such as depression.

Annual health checks are vital, along with a monthly testicular self-examination which can help make you aware of your body and able to note any changes.
