White Shark Projects Supports Community Initiatives in Gansbaai
White Shark Projects is not just all about shark cage diving; we also support community initiatives.
During March, we did the following:
- Lighthouse to Lighthouse ladies - WSP (along with Gansbaai Tourism and others) welcomed the ladies to Franskraal beach on Sunday, 8 March. Our team was there to fill their water bottles for the last stretch. We also gave a delicious boerewors roll for sustenance. This is an annual event, and WSP has supported them since the beginning.
- Global Recycling Day Clean-up Saturday, 14 March. A team from WSP and community volunteers joined in the Greater Gansbaai Clean-up to keep the Kleinbaai harbour and environment clean.
WSP supplies a light lunch every second Thursday to the young children attending the Imed project.
