Southern Whale Self Catering welcomes you to De Kelders, Gansbaai.

Please note that the property also includes a separate flatlet occupied by a permanent resident. The resident has a private entrance, does not share guest facilities and won’t disturb your stay.

The open-plan living area features a fully fitted kitchen, dining area, lounge, and bar - the ideal setup for socialising and relaxing. Whether you are preparing meals, gathering around the TV for a big rugby match, enjoying a movie night with friends, or chatting over a few drinks at the bar, this space is designed for easy, comfortable living and entertaining.

There are two daybeds in this area for additional sleeping space, perfect for kids or extra guests.

The outdoor patio includes a braai and a picnic table, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco.

  • The main bedroom features a queen-size bed, and the ensuite bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet.
  • The second bedroom has a bunk bed.
  • The third bedroom has a queen-size bed.

The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath, basin and toilet.

Cancellation Policy
  • Free cancellation up to 1 week before check-in
  • More than 1 week before check-in - 100% deposit refunded
  • More than 48 hours before check-in - 50% deposit refunded
  • Less than 48 hours before check-in - 0% deposit refunded
  • The full deposit will be forfeited for cancellations between 1 December and the end of January, and Easter
  • Non-arrivals will be charged the full accommodation amount
