Transform Your Future: Overcoming Past Negativity

Don’t lock yourself in the past. Support and focus on your future.

We live in fear, doubt, guilt, and hurt from our past experiences. In a new situation, we rely on the negative emotions from the past, instead of using the emotion as an opportunity to draw our attention to how we want it to be different in the future.

Our past fear and doubt stems from moments when we undervalued ourselves. Be it in self-belief, self-trust, self-recognition, etc. The emotion now is a reminder that we had the experience and that today we have the opportunity to change that.

When you find yourself avoiding a negative emotion, ask yourself what you want from this moment and what your vision is for your future. The negative emotion is bringing awareness. You hold the power to choose empowerment.

Focus on your future. Use the past as an indicator of guidance to ensure you step towards your future in your self-love and self-belief.
