Die Gansbaai-tak van die DA het onlangs sy nuwe Bestuur vir 2014 / 2015 verkies. Die Bestuur is saamgestel uit wyke 1 en 2 wat Franskraal, Uilkraalmond, Karavaanpark, Kleinbaai, Masakhane, Blompark, Gansbaai en De Kelders insluit.
Die nuwe Bestuur sien as volg daaruit: Voorsitter / Chairperson - Riana de Coning; Ondervoorsitter / Vice Chairperson - Moira Opperman; Sekretaris / Tesourier / Secretary / Treasurer - Marius de Wit. Addisionele Lede / Additional Members: Kobie van Wyk, Jannie Botha, Alec Kitley, Kris Jooste, Linda Ndevu, Ryan Murtz (jeug) en Maynhard van Niekerk (jeug).
The election was conducted by Cll Dudley Coetzee and the meeting was attended by Provincial MP Musizole Mnqasela and the newly elected Deputy Mayor of the Overstrand Cll Rudolph Smith. Hoewel die persone wat verkies is, die kern van die Bestuur vorm, kan ander gekoöpteer word. Ander lede van die Party wat nie op ‘n voltydse basis betrokke kan wees nie, maar wat van tyd tot tyd met Tak-verligtinge kan help, kan Riana by 083-597-2781 skakel.
