Laerskool Die Bron in Stanford se kano-span is Vrydag, 3 Februarie 2017 in die Caledon Casino vereer met die toekenning: Ontwikkelende Kano-skoolspan van die Jaar 2016. Die skool is deel van die Wes-Kaapse Kanovaart Assosiasie en neem deel aan gebiedsbyeenkomste.
