Gansbaai Courant verwelkom besoekers aan hierdie pragtige deel van die Overstrand.  Die see wag vir dié wat wil lyne natmaak of sommer vir die lekkerte met een van die plesierbote vanaf Kleinbaai wil uitgaan om die seelewe te gaan opsoek – en vir die meer avontuurlustiges is daar natuurlik haaikyktoere.

Sampie Lauwrens (foto), ‘n nuwe klublid by Birkenhead Bootklub, het met sy eerste deelname aan ‘n klubkompetisie die swaarste vis vir die dag ingeweeg. Hier glimlag die afgetrede groenteboer met ‘n geelbek van 2.9kg en een van die hotnotvisse wat hy kant toe gebring het.
