Hierdie groep tevrede vrouens, wat voorheen aan gesinsgeweld onderworpe was, het pas ‘n middagmaal geniet wat deur Gansbaai SAPD vir hulle gereël is. Links voor en agter is lt.kol Moshi (Stasiebevelvoerder) en sers Testa. Voor 3de van links is me Thomas, 4de konst Naidoo, 5de mnr Jansen en 6de me Claassen saam met die groep vroue. Die kinders het pas vir die 5km wedloop deur Gansbaai weggespring. Die wedloop is deur Denver August en Corrie Avenant, in samewerking met Gansbaai SAPD, gereël. Nuuskierige Cool Kidz kleuters bekyk die plant van ‘n boom op hul terrein, wat ‘n inisiatief van Doulene Els (Gansbaai Toerisme) was. Gansbaai Toerisme het in samewerking met White Shark Projects vir die plant van bome gereël. Hier was dit Rainbow Kids kleuterskool in Beverley Hills se beurt. Gansbaai Munisipaliteit verwyder jaarliks “tonne” skroot- en tuinafval gratis vir inwoners van Gansbaai, Blompark en Masakhane. In Pearly Beach het rdl Dudley Coetzee (met die graaf), in samewerking mat Gansbaai Munisipaliteit bome geplant. Masakhane Créche se bome wat deur Gansbaai Toerisme gereël is word hier deur White Shark Projects geplant. Jancke (8) en Francois (3) oorhandig hulle donasies aan BARC se Nols Jonas, wat hulle op hul eie ingesamel het. Selfs Carolyn Botha, bekende agter Gansbaai Apteek se toonbank, het op Mandeladag met BARC se honde gaan stap. Hier ontvang sy haar hond van Nols Jonas van BARC. Jaunene en Jancke (8) Otto kry hulle BARC hondjies gereed vir hul staptog op Mandeladag. Sopdrink tyd in die koue vir BARC ondersteuners. Van links Hannelie en Nols Jonas van BARC, saam met Glenda Kitley en Doulene Els van Gansbaai Toerisme. ‘n Tevrede Doulene Els van Gansbaai Toerisme sit saam met Nols en Hanelie Jonas van BARC by ‘n deel van die skenkings aan BARC vir Mandeladag. Doulene het die suksesvolle dag by BARC, asook die plant van bome by verskeie kleuterskole gereël. GansbaaiCourantNew_1501837752
