A letter to our guests,
If we thought last year was challenging, then this year has taken the challenge to a whole new level. Besides the loss of lives, loss of income and disruptions that covid has caused all of us, we inspire ourselves by continuing to look for each cloud’s silver lining so we don’t lose sight of life’s beauty.
All this staying at home has also been an opportunity for some of us to rethink what is important to us.
Some of our most uplifting moments during this new normal
1. Working from home has meant spending more time with family
2. Exercise became even more important once corona-kilos made their appearance
3. Healthy eating took a front seat after the novelty and easy access of our kitchen wore off (see our second comment above)
4. Slow family dinners around the table
5. Playing board games after dinner
6. Walking along the coast
With Guppy Huys we have tried to recreate a space where these slow connections can happen.
