Silver Award-Winning Art by a Rising Star!
This stunning fish painting won a Silver Award at a Western Cape Celebration of Art and was created by one of the talented children from the Creative Skills Factory. This amazing NPO works alongside the Grootbos Foundation in the communities of Stanford, Masakhane, and Blompark.
Every week, Creative Skills Factory runs afternoon art workshops at our Masakhane Hub, complementing the active sports programmes by the Grootbos Foundation. Art is a fantastic way to:
• Develop fine motor skills
• Build relationships of trust
• Identify barriers to learning in Grade R - Grade 3
This powerful partnership of local NPOs and complementary programmes provides better support and fun opportunities for children and their families. We're proud to work with Creative Skills Factory and even prouder to celebrate this young artist's incredible achievement!
